Alonzo Sule

KTP-Basket · NCAA Division I background

From Texas State and James Madison to professional basketball in Portugal, Israel and Finland. A forward’s perspective on competing and adapting.

Alonzo played NCAA Division I basketball at Texas State and James Madison University. The 6-foot-7 forward from Houston started all 25 games for Texas State during its 2020–21 Sun Belt regular-season championship season before continuing his college career at JMU.

In his first season at James Madison, he appeared in 26 games and averaged 7.5 points and 4.7 rebounds. His experience spans different programs, teammates and roles—part of the adjustment that players face as they move through college basketball.

At Axis, Alonzo brings a forward’s perspective on finishing, rebounding and contributing to a team. Players can learn from his experience of competing at Division I level and navigating a change of program.
