Aly Dhanani

UNLV graduate assistant manager · Basketball analytics

Experience with UNLV basketball and SFU’s advanced statistics and analytics. A staff-side perspective on understanding a player’s game.

Aly brings a staff-side perspective to Axis. His background includes serving as a graduate assistant manager with UNLV men’s basketball, giving him experience inside an NCAA Division I program.

Before UNLV, he held an advanced statistics and analytics role with Simon Fraser University’s men’s basketball program. His background combines time around college teams with the work of understanding performance through information and observation.

For Axis players, Aly’s focus is on looking beyond a highlight: understanding decisions, recognizing what a player contributes and preparing a clear picture of their game. He brings a useful perspective to film conversations and recruiting preparation.
